Rhymney Villas is a generously proportioned and beautifully appointed ground floor apartment ideally suited for two, but can accommodate four. The apartment is conveniently located in the very centre of the ancient market town of Marazion close to its award winning restaurants, character pubs and galleries. The sea and sandy beach with the tidal causeway to the magical island fortress of St Michael’s Mount is just 100 metres away. There are fabulous views of the Mount from the living room, which has French doors opening onto a small patio with palm trees, giving the whole
apartment a light and airy feel.
Entering the large apartment through the impressive porch door, your eyes are immediately drawn through the kitchen, dining area and living room to the amazing view of the sea and St Michaels Mount beyond.
The apartment is deceptively spacious with period features throughout, and is beautifully furnished and decorated, with lovely artwork to provide light, airy and stylish accommodation. The property retains many original features such as wood floors, panelled doors, coved ceilings, alcoves, and fitted cupboards.
The long living room with its magnificent grandfather clock and writing desk has a comfy sofa and inviting leather armchair, with a pair of high back wooden chairs strategically placed from which to relax and enjoy the outstanding view through the opening French doors.
When the view has become too much, free superfast wi-fi, DAB radio / CD player and a large flat screen smart TV with Amazon & Freeview are available provide alternative viewing and entertainment.
The large kitchen area is extremely well equipped with granite worktops and plenty of storage space, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. A dining table with chairs for 6 sits comfortably in the kitchen / dining area, which also features a snug window seat affording sea and Mount views.
Central Heating is by oil with radiators throughout the property, supplemented by a flame effect electric stove in the living room.
Bedroom: The property is ideally suited for two guests with a generous en-suite master bedroom featuring an impressive mahogany wardrobe and antique chest of drawers. The bed with reading lights over, can be configured as a super king, or unzipped to provide two 3’6” single beds.
There is a pull out double sofa bed in the room between the master bedroom and the open plan living space, allowing up to four guests to stay, however access to the WC / Shower room for everyone staying in the apartment is through the master bedroom, which may be an issue for some.
Bathroom: The en-suite bathroom features a large walk in rain shower, WC, hand basin with illuminated mirror and plenty of storage.
Kitchen Area: The large kitchen is very well equipped with a range of high quality units with granite workspace and fitted appliances including; electric oven and halogen hob, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, and an extensive set of cooking utensils.
A dining table with seats for four sits close to a bay window with cushioned window seat providing yet another view of the Mount.
Living Area: The spacious living room has a large comfortable sofa and leather armchair to relax in front of the stove electric fire and a couple of high back chairs from which to admire the gorgeous views. There is a large writing desk and handsome grandfather clock, plus a blanket box stocked with board games.
Superfast broadband Wi-Fi is provided at no extra cost, as well as a 40-inch smart TV with Amazon and Freeview channels, plus a DVD player with a good stock of DVD’s. There is also a DAB radio and CD player.
Linen: All bed linen, plus soft towelling white hand and bath towels are provided; however please bring your own beach towels.
Accessibility: The apartment is on the ground floor with level access throughout all rooms. There are steps at the front door which could make access for a wheel chair difficult, but otherwise the apartment is well suited for people with mobility issues. There are grab handles in the walk in shower. The toilet is not a high seat WC.
Parking: Car Parking is available just 100m away at the Godolphin Arms Hotel car park. Daily tickets may be purchased from the attendant at £4.50 per day, although out of season (October to March), parking is free.
Changeover: Changeover day for Rhymney Villas is on Saturday. Tenancies begin at 4.00pm on the day of your arrival and end before 10.00am on the day of your departure.

To secure your booking, a 25% non - refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The final
balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date, together with a £30 booking fee and a £100 re-fundable security deposit. By making a booking you accept our terms and conditions.
Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights may be accepted at our discretion from the beginning of November until Easter, (not including Christmas / New Year). Short stays are priced pro rata of the weekly rate plus an additional cleaning charge. For stays of 5 nights or more the full weekly charge applies.
