3 Fore Street is a quaint Cornish terraced cottage with lots of character retaining many original features such as the large fireplace, beamed ceilings and original doors. There is a wood burner in the cosy living room, plus electric central heating throughout. Upstairs there is a pretty single room at the front of the house and a spacious double room with vaulted ceiling to the rear.
3 Fore Street is available all year round - perfect for the summer whilst its enticing wood burner will warm you after a bracing walk along the coast path in winter months. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need for your self catering holiday and to the rear is a small court yard with table and 2 chairs, perfect for those morning coffee's. The family bathroom has a modern suite with walk in shower. On site parking is available for one car* to the rear of the property.
Bedrooms: Both bedrooms are upstairs.
Bedroom 1 with a double bed and window onto the rear court yard. Wardrobe. Shelving. 2 bedside tables. Electric storage heater. Vaulted beamed ceiling.
Bedroom 2 with single bed. Bedside table. Shelving with mirror.
Bathroom: There is a modern shower room on first floor with low level WC, hand basin and walk in shower cubicle with electric shower and heated towel rail.
Kitchen: The hand made units give ample space for any food preparation. There is an electric cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and toaster.
Living / Dining Room: The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, and armchair. There is a TV and wood burning stove. Extra heating is provided by electric storage heaters for those Autumn and winter breaks. A dining table and 4 chairs are provided too.
Dog friendly: The owners are happy for well behaved dogs to stay, providing they are not not allowed on the furniture and they must be kept downstairs. (dogs are charged at £25 each per stay)
Other information: Bed linen and hand / bath towels are provided, however please bring your own beach towels. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.
Accessibility: Due to the fact that all bedrooms and the family bathroom is upstairs on the first floor we regret that the cottage may not be suited to some people with mobility issues.
Courtyard: This area is accessed via the back door through the communal utility area. A table and 2 chairs are provided to enjoy this outside area. The steps up to the top garden are strictly out of bounds.
Parking: There is a private parking space to the rear of the cottage accessed via Back Lane just a 3 minute walk away. The lane is VERY narrow (at it's narrowest point is 6 foot 6 inches wide). If you have a large car (or nervous disposition), then the best option is to park at the Marazion Sea Front Car Park, a 3 minute walk away, at the current cost of £4.50 per day (Free parking from November to March).
Changeover day for 3 Fore Street is on Friday. Tenancies begin at 4.00pm on the day of your arrival and end before 10.00am on the day of your departure.
To secure your booking, a 25% non - refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date, together with a £30 booking fee and a £100 re-fundable security deposit. There is a £25 charge per dog per stay. By making a booking you accept our terms and conditions.
Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights may be accepted at our discretion from the beginning of November until Easter, (not including Christmas / New Year). Short stays are priced pro rata of the weekly rate plus an additional cleaning charge. For stays of 5 nights or more the full weekly charge applies
