Three Reasons to Take the Family to Marazion This Easter

There's lots of reasons to bring your family to Cornwall but at Easter lots of other activities occur for the duration of the half-term. There's lots on but here's some of our favourite family-orientated events happening around Marazion this Easter!

1. Easter Bird Bonanza at St Michael's Mount

Spring has sprung and the birds are busy making nests. Join us and find out more what you can do to help our native birds this Easter. 

Make your own willow bird feeder, take the feather trail challenge, plant a sunflower and have a go at making your own birds nest. Who knows, maybe a chocolate egg will be laid! We will also be constructing a giant birds nest and invite all our visitors to help create the nest - how big will it get?!

2. Easter Egg Hunt at Paradise Park

If there is one place you are guaranteed to find plenty of eggs this Easter, it’s Paradise Park! 

 Take the family and enjoy hunting around the Park grounds spotting clues along the way – you might even spot some dinosaur eggs! Complete the trail, find the answers to the questions and claim your free mini egg treat.

3. The Railway Children at The Minack Theatre - Porthcurno 


Don’t Miss this most well-loved & iconic family story performed on Cornwall's world famous stage this April.  The Railway Children is a heart-warming tale of an Edwardian family whose lives are turned upside down following the mysterious disappearance of their father. 

Produced by the creative team behind the Minack’s highly acclaimed production of Goodnight Mister Tom .The Railway Children’s cast includes a host of Cornish acting talent alongside members of the Minack Youth Theatre.
