September in Cornwall

September is one of the most glorious times to visit Cornwall. The sea is at it's warmest having had the summer to cook up - meaning swimming is lovely. The light long evenings remain and if the last few years are anything to go by it's the sunniest time of year.

The MET Office is currently indicating that the warm summer we've had will push on into October, lets hope they're right!

With the kids back to school the roads are notably quieter as are the beaches, so you can explore the beauty without some of the seasonal congestion which is inevitable in the peak school holiday times.

So, next thing to decide is where to stay! Surf beaches await on the north shore whilst the south offers sheltered coves and a little more tranquility.

Marazion is a perfect place to holiday as whilst it's situated on the south coast it's just 8 miles to the north shore. Close to St Ives, Porthlevan and of course opposite the iconic St Michael's Mount. So, next thing to decide is where to stay. At the time of writing this we have a selection of stunning properties available during September, snap them up quickly before someone else does. Check availability with our booking engine (see below) and check out the property videos and links below. Happy holidays everyone!
