Reviews

Lovely traditional cottage. Nice to have a sea view and the terrace at the back is a bonus
— Julie Townsend - July 2019
Returned yesterday from a week away staying at Eastleigh Cottage, St Michael’s Mount. The cottage was warm, cosy and spacious for the four of us.
The garden space is beautiful, breakfast in the sunshine is a must! We had scones, jam and cream waiting for us. Such a lovely touch. Great location with a 5 minute walk to town and even closer the Fire Engine Pub, a warm welcome awaits, with great food and ale. We will recommend the cottage and will definitely be back! - April 2019

Owners Adam & Shona Heath and the twins Charlotte and Sebastian:

How long have you owned Eastleigh Cottage?
”We bought Eastleigh in 2017 because we loved bringing the twins to Marazion!”

What’s your favourite view of St Michael’sMount?
”Our favourite views are from the walking path behind the cemetery on the way to Perranuthnoe. Whether you’re at the top of the hill looking down on the Mount and Causeway or at the beachside looking back across the views are spectacular!”

What’s your favourite things to do in Marazion?
”As a family; we love exploring the rock pools along the beaches, family walks around the town and surrounding areas, relaxing in the gardens on the Mount and conquering the awesome climbing frame at the park!”

Where is favourite place for a meal?
We love the buzz, welcoming nature and hearty food of the Fire Engine Inn. For a special treat for the grown ups we really enjoy Ben’s Cornish Kitchen.

What’s your favourite walk in the area?
”Our favourite walk is to follow the coastal path round to Perranuthnoe and enjoy a breakfast or lunch at the Cabin Beach Café. If we’re feeling really energetic we like to continue the walk all the way to Praa Sands and catch the bus back!”

What’s the history of the property?
”Eastleigh Cottage dates back to the 1870’s and has been extended and refurbished may times over down the years. Since purchasing the property we’ve tried to put our stamp on it and hope our family and others get to enjoy it in the years to come!”
