Ocean View is a superb, spacious apartment with ‘phenominal’ sea views sleeping 4 in one double bedroom and a twin room where the single beds can be zipped together to form a superking bed.  This apartment is beautifully appointed and furnished to a high standard  throughout. It occupies the entire top floor of St Winifreds House, conveniently located in the centre of the ancient market town of Marazion. The sea, harbour and sandy beach are just 100 metres away and it is ideally placed, close to the superb restaurants, shops and galleries.. There are absolutely fabulous views of St Michael's Mount and the ocean from the open plan living room and  kitchen/diner. The whole apartment feels very light and airy and benefits from WiFi and free on site parking for 1 car in the rear courtyard.

Accommodation details

After entering the front hallway of St Winifred's House and climbing the stairs you will find the apartment on the top floor. At the top of the stairs is an airing cupboard ideal for coats and shoes after a day out walking or on the beach, and a book shelf with maps and tourist information.  Double glass doors open into the spacious living area which  is well furnished and decorated to a high standard. The open plan living space has an area set aside for a dining table and 4 chairs with lovely views.   The  kitchen area is well equipped with everything you’ll need for your stay. Ocean View is centrally heated with thermostatically controlled radiators in all rooms. 

There are stunning unobsured views of St Michael’s Mount and the Ocean from the open plan living room/dining area and kitchen windows. 

Bedrooms:  
The two bedrooms are fitted with very good quality solid wood furniture and beds.

  1. Bedroom 1 with a King size bed. Wardrobe. 2 bedside tables. Chest of drawers. 2 bedside Lamps.

  2. Bedroom 2 with two ‘zip & link’ single beds which can be joined together to form a superking bed. Wardrobe. Chest of drawers. 2 bedside tables. 2 bedside Lamps.

Bathroom: 
There is a  modern fitted family bathroom  with low level WC, hand basin with mirror, full size bath, and shower over. There is also a heated towel rail. 

Kitchen: 
The  kitchen is  well equipped with a range of modern units with  workspace and fitted appliances including full electric fan oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Whilst cooking you can enjoy the amazing views of the Mount and the sea. 

Dining area: The dining area has a good size dining table with 4 dining chairs, again with outstanding views of the Mount and the sea.

Living Area: 
The  living area has comfortable seating for four on a leather settee and two armchairs. There is a Flat screen TV and DVD and Free Wifi is also available.

Other information: 
Bed linen and hand / bath towels are provided, however please bring your own beach towels.

Accessibility: 
The apartment is on the top floor accessed by stairs and has no lift, we therefore regret that the property may not be suited to some people who may find the stairs challenging.

Parking: 
Outside to the rear there is an enclosed shared courtyard accessed from Leys Lane with allocated parking for one medium sized vehicle – a rarity for Marazion. The entrance to the rear courtyard parking slot is very tight but alternative parking for those with bigger cars (or a nervous disposition), can be found nearby on the Marazion Sea Front car parks a short walking distance away for £4.50 per day April to October and free from November until March.


Changeover Day

Changeover day for Ocean View is on Saturday. Tenancies begin at 4.00pm on the day of your arrival and end before 10.00am on the day of your departure.

Booking Notes

To secure your booking, a 25% non - refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The final balance is due 8 weeks before your arrival date, together with a £30 booking fee and a £100 re-fundable security deposit. By making a booking you accept our terms and conditions.

Short Breaks

Short breaks of 3 or 4 nights may be accepted at our discretion from the beginning of November until Easter, (not including Christmas / New Year). Short stays are priced pro rata of the weekly rate plus an additional cleaning charge. For stays of 5 nights or more the full weekly charge applies.
